Students from Georgian’s Police Foundations program recently took part in the CSI Challenge, a hands-on learning experience that simulates real-life crime scene investigation. As part of National Police Week, this event highlights how Georgian students are building skills in teamwork, critical thinking and communication while preparing for careers in policing and public safety.
It was the first time competing at Skills Ontario for all 23 of Georgian’s student competitors, many of whom are in their first year at college.

To mark International Firefighters’ Day on May 4, Georgian is unveiling a new fire truck training vehicle to enhance student learning in the Pre-service Firefighter Education and Training program.
Program expansion is life changing for students who, otherwise, would have no choice but to leave home to attend a denturism program. Â
Eight different Design and Visual Arts programs will be represented in the show, which will run between April 25 to May 14.
У԰³Ô¹Ï’s one-year Event Management graduate certificate program offers students real-world experience from day one. Through hands-on learning, field placements, and the opportunity to plan high-impact events, students graduate with industry connections, portfolio-ready projects and the confidence to launch their careers in events.
This family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and promises an exciting lineup of activities, food and entertainment.
Guests will enjoy a curated menu of mocktails, expertly paired with appetizers, as well as live entertainment, vendors and a raffle with over $1,000 in prizes.
The students have studied many art making approaches and will display their work using a variety of creative methods, styles and influences.
